Mona's Worst Enemy: what happens

Each day turns into a duel of sharp tongues, pride and poor choices, and her neatly organised view of the world starts to come apart.

First chapter, free: moving in

The opener establishes the rivalry and the house rules that neither of them intends to follow.

After the free part (3–15): a long war of nerves

The long locked stretch develops the rivalry into something closer, chapter by chapter.

Open-section heat with an enemies-to-lovers slow burn. The length favours build-up over explicitness.
