Bella, My Step-Daughter: what happens

A trip takes his wife away for forty-eight hours, and she leaves him in charge of Bella, her grown daughter. Bella has never stopped calling him Daddy, and her idea of being looked after is not the one her mother had in mind.

Two days in one house would be tricky enough. Then the flight home is cancelled, the deadline slips, and the arrangement stops being something either of them can pretend is innocent.

First chapter, free: the wife leaves

The opener sees the wife off and leaves the two of them alone. Bella wastes very little time testing what her stepfather will put up with.

After the free part (3–5): the flight is cancelled

The locked chapters take place after the news of the cancellation, which removes the safety of a fixed end point.
